I had the opportunity to participate in the ANJEE Fall Conference this past September. It was a beautiful day at Duke Farms in NJ (Side note- if you have not been there, please do yourself a favor and check it out!!)!!!! Environmental Educators from all over NJ came to the event and everyone got to participate in the making of the mosaic stepping stones!!! Between events, people were able to come over and place a piece of glass on the templates I had created for the event. I had this opportunity thanks to the great Pat Heaney- she is also the one who turned me into a glass artist, along with girl scout leader, epic woman, and just all around one of my favorite people!!!! Thank you ANJEE, it was an awesome day!!!!!!! I hope these make someone very happy at the Winter Auction!!!!!!!!!!
This past Wednesday, I had the opportunity to teach an awesome stamp carving class!!! Thanks to Garden State Surf and Art and Bay View Park on LBI for getting this class together!!! The skies were gray and it was raining, but the show must go on!! I wasn't about to let a little rain get in the way of making some really fun, reusable bags!! Six wonderful people braved the weather and showed up!! It was awesome!!! We even got the wonderful show of a huge rainbow!!! This was probably one of my favorite classes, just because it was outside, I got to work barefoot, and the views were awesome!!!! Great job ladies!!!!!!! Thank you for showing up and making beautiful art!!!!
